Interested in submitting cases?

This section of Hematology Education Online aims to translate the information acquired through didactic lectures and current guidelines into a hands-on approach to clinical cases. The cases that will be selected are those that translate into practice the diagnostic and management algorithm for benign hematological cases. Learning how to approach clinical dilemmas is helpful however extremely unusual presentations with no teaching benefit or unconfirmed diagnoses will not be selected.

Please submit a short clinical synopsis of the case you would like to submit to Sassine Ghanem MD at sassine_ghanem@brown.edu or use the form below and we will reach out to you. If requested, you should have access to lab results and if applicable pathology images. If selected, we will work together to convert the case into a deidentified clinical vignette with multiple choice questions and diagnostic/management algorithms that will help everyone learn from these cases. Of note, this is a teaching forum and should not be used to get clinical advice on a case that you are currently managing.
